Dress Code

Men’s

Smart-casual and comfortable. The weather will be hot, and most of the day will be outdoors on grass and cobblestones. Light fabrics like linen shirts and trousers work best, with comfortable shoes suitable for uneven ground.

Women’s

Practical but chic. With the summer heat and outdoor setting, go for light, airy fabrics. Since we’ll be on grass and cobblestones, wedges, block heels, or flats are ideal—avoid stilettos. Flowy dresses or jumpsuits are perfect choices.

What Not To Wear

We love you, and we love your style… but for our big day, we’ve got a few gentle guidelines to keep everyone looking fabulous and keeping the spotlight on the couple.

For Gentlemen
  • No shorts, please – We promise the ceremony won’t be that long.
  • Leave the flip-flops and sliders at home – This is a lawn, not a @Braai@ take away BBQ.
  • Skip the all-white suit – That’s our job to stand out, not yours.
For women
  • No white, ivory, or cream – Unless you’re planning to marry someone that day.

  • Avoid casual wear – Jeans are great for errands, not exchanging vows.

  • Think “garden chic,” not “glitter explosion” – Shine is fine, but let’s not out-sparkle the bride.

For the Little Guests
  • No superhero capes – Unless the bride requests a dramatic ring delivery.

  • Cute, comfy outfits – So they can look adorable without turning into a mud painting.
